Improving management and leadership skills in the furniture industry

The aim of this e-learning website is to raise awareness of environmental issues facing the industry. This site is an e-learning course developed to give busy managers in the furniture industry a working introduction to the issue of environmental management. Each section of the website is accompanied by a short interactive assessment to test the level of understanding.

The website has been funded through an Advantage West Midlands project, co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Learning Skills Council (LSC) and developed for the Objective Two area of the West Midlands. The Furniture, Furnishings and Interiors National Training Organisation (FFINTO) have been working in partnership with the trade association of British Furniture Manufacturers (BFM) and their Environmental Consultant, Alistair Bromhead, to bring you this interactive e-learning website.
